Do you alter my Designs?

Launch Initiaitive will not alter any designs without the Designers persmission. If our design team feel that something will not work or that something needs to be altered, they will contact the Designer and speak to them about changes that could possibly be made. When stockists are on the judging panel, they will often provide feedback to any changes they feel would give your garments a better chance at selling in store.

How do I join?

Simply click on the Become a Member tab and enter your details.

Is it secure to give out my credit card details?

Yes, we use Paypal for all transactions. Paypal uses the world's most advanced fraud prevention systems.

What if I don’t have a credit card?

You can do a direct deposit or an echeque. Simply contact the team at Launch and they will give you all the information required.

How do I get my royalty or payment for my Designs or the Online Boutique?

Launch Initiaitve will do an electronic transfer into your Bank Account every Thursday.

What is your quality of manufacturing?

We use one of the top manufacturers available both in Australia and overseas. Leading Australian label Zimmerman uses the same manufacturers.

 

I have some designs that I want to submit to Launch Initiative Fashion but I don't think they relate to the inspiration and concept of the brief. What can I do?

I want to purchase some items from your Online Shop. What is the cost of postage?

Postage is free to anywhere in Australia.
You should receive your item/s within 5-7 working days

How many collections does Launch Initiative produce every year?

Launch Initiative Fashion hosts two collections each year - Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.
Throughout the rest of the year Launch Initiative will be expanding with programs like Launch Initiative Sleepwear (available from mid 2009) to keep our Members on their toes and our initiative diverse. There will always be competitions that you can enter if you are a Designer Member. These competitions will help you get your design work out there and earn you some real cash.

How often are the Launch Initiative Elections?

Launch Initiative has a new Election every few weeks, this is to give the designers the greatest chance of exposure. So get your designs in quick for the greatest chance of winning the Launch Initiative Elections and having your design come to real life.

What format can I submit designs in?

You can do the designs in any format - Illustrator, Photoshop, or hand rendered, jpg.  

Are the deigns supposed to be fashion illustrations? or more like specification drawings 2-D, of front and back with a description?

The front, back and side images are to be 2D specification drawings. The illustrations that people will vote off in the Launch Elections can be in any format - something that will make your design stand out. You can specify what fabrics you want to use in the Design Details Form and we'll try to match them best we can once the whole collection has been sorted.

Who owns the copy right of the designs?

You own all the copy rights to your design, when you submit the designs to Launch Initiative, you grant us a license on that copy right. If your design is chosen you will then receive a royalty.

Can I withdraw my design submission?

Yes of course you can, if you decide that you want to change your design you can either withdraw it or submit the updated version. To withdraw a submission simply send us an email at info@launchin.net
